Eric & Laura | Engagement Session

From the very moment we met these two cuties I knew we were in for the best afternoon ever! The second they stepped out of their vehicle they were beaming with joy! It reminded me of “why I do, what I do”, this is precisely why I love my job! I get to work with some of the most AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL people in this world. To be able to share in such a perfect moment is an honor to say the least, and for Eric and Laura to trust us to tell their Love Story. O man! Do not get me started about their wedding in little under a month…I am going to cry like a baby. Their love for each other and playful hearts gives me all the feels from the movie the Notebook. I mean come on… how did we get so lucky to have the perfect location at Farragut State Park and to have a rain storm with these two babes! Complete Awww!

Derek & Kelsey

As a child did you ever imagine who your soulmate would be as an adult? Who would stand by you till the ends of the Earth!? Who will take care of you when physically sick, emotionally hurt, or just burdened by the everyday life. That special person is worth his/her weight in gold and should be cherished for everything that they are. That is one of the many reasons that I absolutely treasure what I do! I get to see this amazing feeling we call Love, and tell each couples story. I love the giggles they make, the weird faces they throw at each other, and how their love comes to life right before my eyes.

Coffee & Macaroon's

When planning your engagement session I always love hearing what it is that you as a couple enjoy or what brought you together. I want to bring out every couples love and how you see it through your eyes, because, Heck! That is why you chose me as your photographer! If you absolutely LOVE a meadow on your way to work and you have dreamt of running through it like you read about in fairy tales, I am your girl! Let’s find your Spot and make your Love Story come to life!!

What to expect during your engagement session!?

I absolutely love engagement sessions, which is precisely why they are ALWAYS included in our Wedding Collections. This is the best way for us to get to know you two as a couple, to see you both interacting together in a very deep and playful way. We want to experience how she giggles when you run together thru a field or make a joke about something so ridiculous! Or when you snuggle up to his chest and I tell you both to close your eyes and relax, that moment when he is holding you close to his heart is our favorite! I am not the type of photographer that is going to have you stand in an awkward position and then tell you 1,2,3 now cheese!!! I capture reaction, emotion, and pure genuine love! But the best part is, is that I am not making the magic happen. You are! I am just trying to keep up ;)

When preparing for an engagement session with us, I want you to come relaxed and ready to snuggle, twirl in circles, run through a field or downtown alley, and basically act like no one is watching. Take a look at this engagement session where we adventured around Sandpoint, ID and be sure to leave us a comment on how stinking cute these two cuties are!

Mr. & Mrs. Allen

Through the years I have been asked by quite a few people "how many back yard weddings do you see?" and I am always saying more than half are done in backyards! Guys we live in North Idaho, almost every backyard has the most breathtaking views of mountains, prairie, lakes, rivers, etc. It is what make Idaho weddings so awesome and memorable!! Plus I love seeing where the Bride or Groom grew up and now being able to get married at.

This couple did just that, every part of their wedding was personalized to them and their family which was absolutely amazing!! The love that they have for each other is what most people dream for and it was such an honor for us to capture. Here is to Brian & Kelsey, Congratulations again you two! We cannot wait to see where life's journey will take you and your adorable pups!!

Mr. & Mrs. Montgomery

Up here in Northern Idaho we get tons of snow, but thankfully that did not stop this amazing couple from tying the knot on December 30, 2017. Everything from her dress to the chapel was simply perfect and completely fitting to the time of season.

I cannot wait to see where these two lovely people go in life and the adventures they create with friends and family. Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Montgomery! It was such an honor to capture such a beautiful moment between you two.
